March 27th ~ This was our first time taking the car out to the track. It went very well, Seth was excited and nothing broke and we never touched the wall. However, there was a slight miss in the motor and we just could never get it fixed so we decided another practice time was in our future.

March 31st ~ Seeing as Trail-way Speedway only offered one practice time, we made our way up to Susquehanna Speedway for the first time. We had never been to or seen this track before but we pulled into the infield and begun to unload. The track was well groomed and Seth enjoyed driving around. We changed several items including the jets and spark plugs but were never able to get things completely fixed. So we will continue to work on the car during the week and hope that the carburetor man hurrys up and gets our finished before Friday the 6th.

April 6th ~ So it was too cold on Friday to race according to Trail-ways so we are going to give it another try this coming weekend, please come join us.

April 13th ~ So, it was a beautifully windy evening yet we were still there to race. We showed up at the track and unloaded the car. Seth went to find the tech man to tech the motor, little did we know that he is pitted right across from us. LUCKY US!!! Anyways, after a short conversation between Seth and the tech man, we were told that we would be unable to race that evening if we didnt remove the chains on the car and a so called spoiler in the rear window. Unfortunately we were also told that the tech man was too busy that evening to tech our car but those items still had to be removed. So Seth got to work removing the inappropriate items and we attempted to change our attitudes. We went out for our extremely quick, 2 and a half laps of warm-up and then ran the track in. During the heat race, Seth began in the 7th starting position out of 9. The start couldn't have been any worse, the pole sitter had trouble getting his car to speed at the green flag which caused Seth's entire row to get stuck behind him. However, once all that was sorted out, and Seth got a better run, he quickly moved up through the field into the fourth position. After passing for third Seth was coming to the checkered flag when something happened to the leader that sent him straight into the turn four wall thus allowing Seth to finish second. Then came time for the feature race, Seth started in the 7th position yet again but this time, got a much better start. It was an exciting battle watching Seth pass cars on the bottom of the track and then on the outside of the straightways. By lap 10 Seth had passed enough cars to place in the top four. Then coming out of turn four, Seth got impatient while trying to pass Randy May and got a little bit too sideways thus giving Randy the extra room he needed to secure his finishing spot. So Seth finished fourth with a solid run, a semi-banged up car, and a motor that runs beautifully!!! If you are free this weekend, come visit us the track.

April 20th ~ The best way to describe this evening is by taking a ping pong ball and stepping on it. If that picture doesn't help let me provide some details. The evening began with the motor passing tech always a good sign. Then we went out for practice, nothing major happened in warm-ups. Seth began the heat race in the 7th position. He made a great run to finish in the second spot, had he been in first he would have held the track record. We were thinking our night was going to be great. We pulled another pill and then began in the sixth position. Seth made a wild move on the entry to turn one. He was passing cars on the outside and pulling away. As the laps went by, Seth got down to the inside where he was more comfortable racing when all the sudden a car on the top of the track came down on Seth. Seth spun out and was sent to the back of the field. That is when we noticed the entire driver's side was flapping in the wind. Seth was black flagged and told to come in and remove the pieces if he wanted to race. Seth quickly entered the pits where my brother, another guy and myself started jumping up and down on the broken pieces and ripping them off. Seth quickly went back onto the track. It was during all the battling to regain the lost positions that Seth began to experience what it felt like to be a ping pong ball. By the time the transmission started slipping and Seth felt it and made his way off the track, there was not a body panel that didnt need repair. So, we took home a 14th place finish and looked forward to an extremely long weekend/week of repair work. Oh boy, and just think with all this excitement it is only the second race of the year.

April 27th ~ What an evening!! During the week, Seth had the dents fixed by Saturday, the transmission repaired, and checked over everything else. We were excited that my brother would be racing this evening for the first time in a sprint car and we were excited to see what he would do. Seth went out for the practice and said that he believed there was still something wrong with the fuel system or motor. We changed nothing and got Colt ready to go out. Unfortunately, during the heat race, Colt's engine dropped a rod through the oil pan and cost him a motor. Everyone was bummed out because we all knew how hard my dad had worked on it. Then we got to Seth's heat race. Seth started seven and the pole sitter missed a shift which sent Seth back a few spots. Seth quickly regained his racecar and began the battle up to the front. He made to to the second position in the heat before it was over. And then, it was feature time, Seth started in the fifth starting spot. He made some beautiful textbook passes and quickly took the lead on lap 8. Seth led from lap 8 to lap 12. That is when a caution flew and another driver drove underneath while someone else went high. Seth held on to second place and had the best battle with the leader that we had seen all night. As Seth attempted to pass for the lead on the last lap coming out of 4, the third place car got a run on him and passed him at the line by a half a bumper. What can we say, we gave it our best and feel confident for the big race next weekend.

May 4th ~ Maddie!!!! Please don't miss any more races, you are truly Seth's lucky charm. Anyways, Seth was ready to race in his championship race tonight, things were going smoothly. We arrived to the track ready to go. Seth got unloaded and pulled his starting position. We drew number 12 and luckily we got to start on the pole in the heat race, we maintained that position during the entire race, there was some good racing. Seth then had to redraw a pill for the feature event and at that time pulled 57 which then started him in the 6th position. During the first three laps, Seth was a ping pong ball in the middle of a pack of 7 cars. There was no where for him to go, so he just waited until things got sorted out. After everything was sorted out he was in the sixth position. As he was coming out of turn three and fourth, an axel and tire from the 71 came flying back at Seth's car, he slammed on the brakes to avoid the flying mess and reclaimed his position in 4. Then again the race was started and as Seth was going into turns 3 and 4 the 57 car got loose and spun down into Seth. Seth narrowly avoided hitting the 57 car as it spun down into the infield. This brings out another caution. Seth restarts in 4th yet again, however during the restart Seth watched the third and fourth place drivers bump each other and continue bumping and slamming into each other down the front stretch to the point where they spun each other out right in front of Seth, there was no where for him to go so he joined in the mess of wrecked cars while someone else slid into Seth. Racing resumed with Seth now in the rear of the field, in about 10 place. He commented on how funny the steering of his car, later we would find out that he completely trashed the front end and the alignment was really off by about 90 degrees. So the green flag for the last lap is when Seth realized as he was going down the front stretch to pass for a few more spots that something didnt feel right, the car felt wiggly. Needless to say, the reason for the wiggles was because Seth had blown his left rear tire. He did some nice spins with a few more cars in turns 1 and 2 before coming to a rest on the back stretch. So all in all it was an extremely eventful evening with Seth obtaining a 8th place finish. At this point in time, we are looking to hire someone for the body work that is continually needing to be done each week and last year we never had this problem, what's the deal :)

May 11th ~ It was such a mix of emotions that I am not sure where to begin. We arrived at the track and got everything unloaded. Seth checked the fuel pump (4th one this season) and determined that it too was not working properly. So we changed it yet again to yet another stock pump before the practice round. That one didnt last long and Seth finally got angry enough and put on the only one that did work, yet doesnt exactly match what the rules say. So we go out for practice, nothing to exciting there. Then we begin the heat races, Seth starts in the 8th position. He works his way up through the field to 4th spot. Then the feature time arrives, Seth will be starting in the 10th position with the faster guys in front of him. So the green flag drops, Seth stays on the high side and quickly gets around two cars. A few more laps go by and Seth has worked his way up to 6th. The first caution comes out on lap 2, two of the fast cars have broken and they leave the track. Racing resumes and the 12 car is right behind Seth, together they have worked their way around two more cars. They have a good clean battle over the 4th spot with Seth holding on to the position as something in the front end breaks on the 12 and sends him straight into the wall in turn 3 and 4. After the cars get lined up and the green flag is thrown again Seth quickly passes the third place car and finally is able to see his number on the board. Then Seth comes across a driver that has trouble holding his own line when being passed and typically attempts to turn into the other drivers car. The green flag is dropped and Seth takes this particular driver on the inside going into turns 1 and 2. The driver turns into Seth which send Seth into a fit of anger, it is lucky that the caution had to be thrown of something else on the track. Seth drives up beside the driver and points his finger at him demonstrating that he is clearly upset with him. On the restart, Seth gets a beautiful start and passes that driver on the outside of turns 1 and 2 with no further problems. Seth is now in the 2nd position where he will remain. It was a great race with Seth taking some risks and trying other driving lines to see which would have been better on the track that was at its worst condition of the season. So, Seth goes to tech and they look over his car, noticing the fuel pump. The tech man explained to Seth that it needed to be fixed for next weekend and he would not allow it again. The gentleman who finished in 3rd position came over and helped give Seth some ideas on stock parts that would help him with his problem so we will be trying that this week. So we left tech and had the truck loaded up. Seth was beginning to back the truck and trailer out so that we could begin going home, when two guys came running up to Seth. Unfortunately for the winner of the race, the number 71, something was illegal in his motor so he was disqualified which then made Seth the winner. Seth was extremely excited and couldnt believe his luck that evening. So next week Seth should be taking pictures in victory lane so the track official say and we will have them on the website soon thereafter. It was not the exact kinda of win we were looking for, but we will take it anyway we can get it. We were not sure how we got to be that lucky, Maddie was there in the stands so we believe that accounted for our good race, but we are beginning to believe that maybe Kathie (my good luck mother-in-law) had brought some luck our way to allow us to win. Whoever it is that we should be thanking, we do thank you and hope that you will be returning to the track often.

May 18th~ The rain held off for enough time to make the evening enjoyable. We got the car unloaded and went through the normal checks. The tech official came over to check to make sure that Seth had put the correct fuel pump on the car and then stayed for a while to chit-chat. Practice came and went and Seth had no complaints about the motor not working right(that was a first). So we did the normal check it over and discuss what was happening. Seth complained that the car was loose and that his RFshock was bottoming out, so we changed shocks and jets and a few other things before the heat race. Seth went out for his heat race in the 9th position out of 9. He worked his way through the short race to finish in the 6th spot. Not bad, unfortunately Seth came in and began complaining that the motor was acting up again, we changed back the jets to what we began with, and put on a stiffer shock once more. Seth began 14th in the feature race, (don't ask me how, we are still trying to figure that out) and the excitement began. On lap 5, Seth had went three wide into turns 1 and 2 and was driving with his tire on the brim of the banking while he tried passing for the 8 position. Well, on the outside of him, two cars got pushing and shoving each other and they turned each other sideways and the whole field behind Seth got caught up in the mess. Once everything was sorted out racing resumed and Seth passed 2 more cars with the 12 right behind him. There was another caution flag for the second and third place cars who got tangled up together. That put Seth in fifth with the number 5m right in front of him. On the restart Seth quickly got around him on the outside while the 12 broke something in the suspension creating another caution to wave. Seth went back to the fifth spot and again passed the 5m on the outside. Seth was driving his best to catch up with the third place driver however the laps ran out and Seth had to settle for a fourth place finish. Not bad coming up from 14th to finish 4th, Seth was excited that he had broken the pattern of finishing well, dont finish, finishing well. Now, the pressure is on as Seth will be driving next week for a group of 45+ fans from the elementary school. We look forward to seeing everyone out there and hope you will join us for the fun and excitement.

May 25th~ With a thunderstorm in Emmitsburg as we were leaving our hopes were dropping that this night would'nt be everything we wanted. However, after we stopped at Carleo's we headed to the track, as we crossed the state line into PA the roads dried up and it appeared that it had never rained. We arrived at the track and the evening began. Seth got the car unloaded while I did my best to get things in order and meet with the track so that when the students arrived everything would run smoothly. Seth was registered to practice and race and his safety equipment was ready. Seth stayed behind to work on small items on the car and attend the drivers' meeting while I went to meet my four guests in the pits. Two students and their parents were invited into the pits to see what it was like on the other side. The guests and I walked around our car while I attempted to answer their questions, shortly after that we headed over to the sprint car that I had lined up for the students to sit in since my dad and Colt were unable to make it with their car. After all the visiting with the cars, I showed the guests where they could sit and watch the races. I then returned to help Seth strap into the car and go out for practice. Once practice was over and Seth came in, we got the heat race line up where Seth started in the 8 position (very last spot). Seth went out for his heat race run and was able to finish in the fourth qualifying spot. Seth and I then went over to see all of our little race fans. We were shocked at how many were there, we estimate that we had about 32 students and their families not to mention about 12 teachers showed up. Needless to say Seth felt like a rock star, we loved hearing the coments "Hey Mom, that's Mr. Seth, he is a real racecar driver, look!!" Seth and I remained on the spectator side for a few minutes until the pace car came around to pick up myself and my two students who won a chance to ride in the pace car. The sprint pace car ride lasted about an hour and 20 minutes and then I have to get out to get Seth ready. Seth was starting in the 14th starting spot for the feature event. We got all strapped in and ready to go out there, Seth was ready to show off his skills. The first few laps were exciting, Seth went from 14th to 7th in a matter of 2 laps. He was at one point a ping pong ball in the middle of two other cars however, they didn't mess up the car too much. After the cars had sorted themselves out there were a few more cautions and several cars dropped out because of problems. Seth was attempting to catch the leaders when he decided to try a different line, unfortunately for him that line didn't work as he spun himself out coming off of turn 3 and 4 with 2 laps to go. Seth was sent to the back of the pack in about 12th spot and then worked his way up to finish 9th in 2 laps. Overall it was a wonderful evening, Seth and I are very honored and proud to have so many fans cheering us on, we look forward to seeing everyone back at the track in the near future.

June 1st~ Seth and I were really excited to find out that Emily would be joining us at the track, not to mention Dad and Colt were coming back to the track ready to give it another go with their sprint car. We got the car unloaded and got to working on the little things. Seth started in the 7th spot in the heat race and by the second turn he was sitting in the 2nd spot. Seth quickly took the lead and led for the remaining laps until another driver passed him while going into turns 1 and 2 on the last lap. Seth was upset but quickly got himself together and checked over the car to get ready for the main event. We were ready to go racing. Seth started in the 7th spot in the feature event and just like the heat race he came out of turn 2 in second place on the first lap.He stayed well in the top 5 for most of the event. However, on a restart another car took out the leader which caused them to get into each other and they went down the track right in front of Seth who had no where to go. Unfortunately Seth was unable to move up any position because the rain had started coming and the race was red flagged. Seth ended up in the 7th position, not too bad for being in a last lap crash, but it could have been better if the rain had'nt come so soon.

June 8th~ We began practice and it appeared that everything was running smoothly. Seth began the heat race in 5th place and moved up to 2nd position before the rain appeared. Slowly the motor began to give out and he slipped back to finish in 4th. When we arrived home that evening Seth looked for the problem and throughout the week he began to fix the issue.

June 15th~ Seth arrived at the track and immediately put on a new brake master cylinder. Emily helped bleed the brakes while Kevin was working on the in-car camera setup. Once everyone got their work done, Seth went out for practice. It was clearly evident in the practice round that Seth had fixed the problem. He had passed 5 cars during the practice round even those cars that he had been battling with in prior races. The car was running awesome, the best it had been all year. Seth started in the 8th position in the heat race and by one lap he was in the first position. He was able to clear 5 cars on the start of the race by passing them on the outside of turns 1 and 2. He held the lead for a lap before another racer attempted to pass him on the inside of turn 3 and 4. When the driver of the other car realized that he wouldnt be able to get around him, the driver decided that it would be easier to simply take Seth out by turning Seth sideways into the infield. After the wreck, Seth was unable to finish the race because he had a flat left front and severe body damage to the left side. Seth came in and banged out the damage to the point where it looked better than before the wreck, we fixed the tire damage and then realized that Seth would be starting in the 13th position. Seth began the race and by a lap and a half he was in first position. It is safe to say that the motor is running much better now. Seth was able to hold on to the lead for several laps and then the same racer that took him out in the heat race passed him for the lead. Seth finished in second place but he was much much happier with that results knowing that his motor finally sounded like it was perfect.

June 22nd~ Well, this was an exciting night so we shall say. Emily began the evening by letting me know that she felt that something was going to happen because we were all leaving to get away for the weekend. Practice went very well, and Seth came in saying that he believed that he had a car to win this evening. Seth began the heat race in 8th place. Seth raced up cleanly into the 4th position but just couldnt get around the other guys during the short amount of race time. So the feature began with Seth beginning in the 10th starting position. Seth quickly moved up to the fourth position. Seth was racing with a rookie driver cleanly for 5 laps before Seth got a great run going into the third turn. However, the rookie driver would not give Seth the line, he turned into the right rear of Seth's car as they were coming out of the turn which then caused Seth to slam the wall hard with the right front and then body slapped the rest of the car on the wall. The rookie driver continued to finished the race in the third position, however Seth was credited with finishing in the 11th position. Once the tech was finished and the rookie driver returned to his pits, Seth wanted to make it clear that what happened on the track was not acceptable and he would not tolerate it again. So Seth spoke (yelled) at the rookie driver, who in turn came over to our pits, with his father. The driver and the father started the screaming match back at Seth who was still extremely hot, Kevin went to help settle or back up or something. I walked over shortly after to get the rookie driver and father out of our pits so that noone would get kicked out. However, it was a close call and the father and driver left yelling about the drivers at the track who think they are all that. We quickly loaded Seth into the truck and left the track. Unfortunately we had to ask Kevin and Emily come to the house to help unload the car because the car was unable to roll. The wreck had destroyed the entire rear suspension and right front suspension. The entire right side has body damage, right rear rim was bent, transmission cooler was busted, the brake backing plate was crushed, and needless to say a HUGE oily mess in the trunk area. It was going to take a lot of time to get the car ready to race again for the next week but Seth was determined to race again, and so the work began after we returned from our mini vacation.

June 29th~ After a long week of scrambling to get parts and the car back together, we managed to make it to track with the car in one piece after completing the final touches Friday afternoon. Practice went well and everything seemed to be working as it should. Seth began 8th in the heat race out of 9 cars. Seth dropped to the very last position after the first two turns and then decided that the high side was the place to be. Seth quickly passed all 8 cars cleanly in only 2 laps and never saw anyone else come close. We proved that we are a team to beat no matter what happens the week before. After winning the heat race we began the feature race in 10th position. The track was extremely rough, with a large rut in turns one and three. Around lap 3 Seth had moved into the fourth position, when the lead car going into turn 3 broke the right rear axle and began barrel rolling while the second place, #94 Randy May, drove underneath of the rolling car. The race was red flagged for about 10 minutes, which put us into third place on the restart. On the restart, Seth was able to get around the second place car and began the chase for the lead. Seth and Randy continued to race for the lead in a battle that was door to door until the very last second. Randy was able to take the win by a mere 4 inches. Seth finished second, and was extremely happy with the quality of racing that Randy and Seth did. Seth was also disappointed to lose the race by a few inches but also felt extremely happywith the turn around considering the results from the previous week.

July 6th~ During the week Seth spent more time checking over the car from the big wreck and took some time to align the car. During the alignment, Seth found that the trans crossmember was broke in half. Seth started the heat race in 8th place once again and while going down the backstretch, Seth brushed the outside wall while passing three cars on the outside which placed him in third position at the end of the first lap. Seth then passed the first and second place car on the outside of turns one and two. There was a slight challenge from a fellow racer, however, Seth quickly regained the lead and took home our third heat win of the year. Now it was feature time, Seth began in the 10th spot once again. He worked his way up to fifth place by the time of the first caution on lap 3. He continue chipping away at the racers until he got to the third place, when the second place driver blew his motor in turn 3 which made the track incredibly slippery but Seth managed to slid through the oily mess for the last three laps and manage to score another second place finish. We are hopeful that in the very near future our car will see victory lane.

July 13th~ YIPPPEEEEE!!!!! We got a week off from racing, so Seth and I decided to go down to Mrytle Beach to visit my grandparents for some much needed R & R. Thanks to Grandma & Grandpa for giving us a place to go to get away.

July 20th~ Wow!!! What an eventful night, Emily I would like you to mention something to Seth before you get these feelings!!!! Our night started out great, practice went well and Seth was pleased with the new intake that he had to change based on the change in rules mid-season. Seth went out for his heat race and was doing an awesome job of racing his way to the front of the pack. We now believe that the track is placing Seth at the back to give him more practice getting around cars, not to mention I believe that there is a pool among the officials to see how long it takes him to get to the front. So we started 9th out of 9 and made it to 2nd by lap 4. We then began reeling in the leader who had a wide lead. Unfortunately we didn't have enough laps to pass him but we were estatic to see how quickly Seth was gaining on him. Then came time for the feature event. Once again Seth was put to the 11th starting position and had to work for every spot he improved. Seth had dropped back a few cars to let some of the drivers beat and bang on each other before he starting working his own moves. Seth passed several cars putting him in the 7th position when a caution came out for debri and another car. As the track officials were cleaning up the car and debri, Kevin noticed that Seth had a flat right rear, we signaled for him to come in, unfortunately it took him a while to see us and the officials never told him. By the time that Seth came into the pits to have the tire changed, everything was in chaos. There was another car trailor backing out making Seth dodge around him and that resulted in relocating the tire changing spot. Then I was unable to get the tire cover off quick enough. By the time that Kevin and I plus the help of other men got the tire changed the official said we were too late. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed in the call of the officials because we knew we had a car to win that night. If Seth had went out there he would have easily slipped into 2nd place even being a few laps down. But racing is racing and everyone has bad nights, we look forward to next week where it will be a night to remember (we are counting on winning) so come out and support your car and the team in victory lane.

July 27th~ Unfortunately, Trail-ways decided to cancel the races for this evening due to the rain that was predicted in the forecast. Please come out and support your car next Friday, August 3rd, as we race to the win.

August 3rd~ Seth made it to the track and went to through tech without any problems, the motor is now sealed again and he had the green light to race. Seth decided not to practice tonight. So Seth started in the 8th position in the heat race and by turn 3 was in the lead. Many fans are amazed at how quickly he has learned and how he can get it to stick wherever he puts that car. Seth then led the entire race with no competition for the lead, he dominated the field. As the skies got darker and darker and the small raindrops began to fall Seth wondered if the races would even be run. Seth started in the 10th position in the feature event. When the green flag dropped the first time, Seth took the high side and went from 10th to 1st by the fourth turn. I think everyone was impressed but unfortunately the caution was thrown and none of that work that Seth did was counted. So the race was restarted and Seth quickly moved from 10th to third in a lap. After a few more laps Seth had passed the second place car and began his battle for the lead. There were several times that he appeared as though he had it but it just wouldnt stick. At one point a caution was thrown and the officials informed Seth that he has in third place not second on a restart. Seth was able to make an exciting race and he finished in the third position. During the interview with the winner the announcer mentioned "you could throw a blanket over the top three cars that is how close they where". Seth then went to tech and everything was fine. So he came home with a third place finished and very excited fans.

August 10th~ Seth arrived at the track with plenty of time to spare as he had decided that he would not be going out for practice again this week. So we watched the other cars in the class to see how the track was and how the other cars were handling. Seth then began to prepare his tires. Thank goodness his dad was there and was willing to help work on the tires. Seth had him sipering the tires to see if that might improve his grip on the track. Once the manual labor (and it was manual hard labor) was complete the tires went back on the car and we got ready for the heat race. Seth was in the 2nd of 2 heat races starting in the 8 position. The track was rough according to Seth who said that it didnt matter where he put the car on the track it just wasnt working. Seth finished in the 4th position and was a little bit disappointed in his performance because we all felt that he was a top three car. Then it was feature time, Seth had done very little changes to the car in between the heat and the feature. He began in the 10th starting position and quickly passed a few cars on the high side to gain a few more positions. At that point the cars started to get more spend out with our favorite driver holding up the faster guys behind him including Seth. Once the faster/cleaner drivers got around him, Seth was in the fifth spot. He was battling for the fourth spot when the third place car broke something. The third place car began to drift backwards like he was slowing down, as Seth and the fourth place car passed him. After another 2 laps we saw what was wrong with the third place car as his tire came flying off. This put Seth into the fourth position. When the green flag dropped Seth was right there on the bumper of third place and quickly put his nose under the other car and made a clean pass for third place. Seth then set his eyes on the second and first place cars. Seth who was now running with no competition behind him was able to quickly catch second and first place. Seth had some daring moves and all three cars were running so close you could throw a blanket over them. On the last lap Seth was able to make some impressive moves to try and pass the second place car and we all thought Seth was going to do it, unfortunately Seth held his line and tried to get the other driver to lift for a fraction of a second which didnt happen and Seth finished in third place by about 3 inches. Another close finish between the same driver that Seth had almost won with, Randy May. Come out and support us this Friday, August 17 as we head back to the track for another exciting night of dirt track racing.

August 17th~ Seth began with another eventful night of racing. He once again declined to go out on the track for practice. Seth started in the 8th position of the 2nd heat race. He moved through the field to finish the race in the 3 position and was able to keep up with the faster guys. During the feature Seth started in the 10th position and had some lap traffic that would not get out of his way so it took him a few laps to work his way around them. Seth put his car on the brim of the turns and was able to shoot around some of the car that way and then there were still those cars that were bad drivers and didnt know when to get out of the way. The first caution came out at lap 3 when the officials finally decided to throw the caution and make a car who had been smoking the entire race get off the track. This car just happened to be the car that is in 2nd place for points so he was not too happy but Seth was extremely happy. Seth had been right behind this car while it was smoking and he couldnt see anything, he commented that he only knew that it was time to turn when he could see the flag people in turns 1 and 3 and the rest of the time he was blind. That car finally went off and racing resumed, Seth quickly regained his focus and pushed the car to the front of the pack. There was some leaning and bump drafting that was going on and as Seth was trying to pass for fourth place as they went into one, the fourth place car was on the outside slightly ahead of Seth who took the inside line. Somewhere in all the chaos a tire came flying off and everyone got wiggly and for a brief few seconds everyone thought that Seth had just lost his tire. But Seth came driving out of the corner with all four tires still attached to the car and now in the fouth spot. Everyone was relieved and racing resumed, Seth was able to keep the pressure on the top three cars but was unable to get any more position because of the fact that there were just not enough laps to get around those cars. However, given 5 more laps there is no doubt anyones mind that Seth would have been in the top 2. The second and third place cars were not that competitive but luckily were able to start in the top 4 of the race. Everyone at the track was extremely proud of the driving style and techniques that Seth demonstrated and everyone looks forward to coming out and watching him again. An extra special thank you to Kimberly and Gary for coming out and supporting us on your trip down, we hope that your sponsorship will continue from year to year. We love you guys!!!!!
